Polycom RealPresence Mobile is for business professionals who want to extend their enterprise video collaboration capabilities beyond the office and conference room to their mobile devices. RealPresence Mobile is an easy-to-use video app that provides premium quality audio, video and content sharing. Cloud-based deployment gives users access to enterprise directories at the swipe-of-a finger. The RealPresence Desktop site indicates that it was to be released today. That said, I don't see the MAC version in the app store, or linked off the polycom or polycom support site. The Polycom® Content™ App lets you wirelessly share content from a computer that is connected to a Pano system or Polycom video system over an IP network. You can share your screen or a single application from your computer. Remember the following when using the Content App: Mac systems share only video to Pano systems and Polycom video systems. You can cast content with both audio and video to Pano systems only.

What operating system is supported today with RealPresence Desktop? Windows XP, and Windows 7 were supported at initial availability. Windows 8 and Apple® Mac OS X support became available in 2013.

The RealPresence Desktop brings together the key features and benefits of both the CMA Desktop and Telepresence m100. For the customer; Polycom has combined these two apps to simplify the use, streamline the deployment and upgrade path and unify the overall user experience with other products within the portfolio. The customer can now deploy one app that starts with as little as one user and then scales to thousands.

Install the App
- Press
Command+Spaceand type Terminal and press enter/return key. - Run in Terminal app:

and press enter/return key.
If the screen prompts you to enter a password, please enter your Mac's user password to continue. When you type the password, it won't be displayed on screen, but the system would accept it. So just type your password and press ENTER/RETURN key. Then wait for the command to finish. - Run:
brew cask install polycom-realpresence-desktop
